From what I've seen (which is far from everything), underwhelming so far. For starters calling it an "organization" is a big exaggeration. The useful part is a shared treasury governed by trust-minimized and relentless dry code. Focus on that and there will be winners.

There are tons of applications for dry-rule-governed money pools besides organizations, one kind being to expand scope of trust minimization from just a money transfer itself to more of the surrounding financial context of particular (still large) categories of money transfer.
