Shouldn't we start measuring both investments and returns in gold? It's a more reasonable metric than USD.

Measure returns in gold. In Bitcoin. (Almost impossible unless bitcoin biz.) And we need to use some measure that incorporates total money supply instead of CPI to measure inflation.
