Ask what are the things in your life & among people you can trust (not just that you have to trust) over which you can have superior knowledge & control. For many this may be a non-monetary investment, e.g. spending less time in subtly costly corp jobs & more building family.

Measure returns in gold. In Bitcoin. (Almost impossible unless bitcoin biz.) And we need to use some measure that incorporates total money supply instead of CPI to measure inflation.
