Last week marked 400 years since the first enslaved Africans arrived in the United States. Our country’s history of slavery and institutional racism continues to cause great pain and inequality toward communities of color. We have to speak truth and confront this reality.

No, I want her and other such extremely dishonest hacks to stop pretending "the United States" was unique in that regard. Slavery was almost universal back then, and had existed since at least the beginnings of civilization many thousands of years ago.

And I want the hate-filled racists to stop using ancient history as an excuse to take money today from some in order to pay explicit or implicit "reparations" to other ill-defined racial groups. This is an agenda of utter hate & I will block anybody that supports it.

I oppose reparations on numerous grounds. Threatening to block people is weak sauce though. Block whomever you want to block. Don’t use it as a rhetorical threat. Besides there’s far more pernicious hate circulating producing far more real present violence.
