That 10 yr chart shows clearly that Bitcoin is not the "Lottery" because with Bitcoin you *win*. In our current environment, losers mostly are a) impatient people, and b) those listening to the willfully ignorant, scammers, or fiat fat cats (Cantillon Effect).

A Lottery is a zero sum game unless you are lucky enough to be one in (whatever the ridiculous odds are for the said Lottery) Most Governments use Lottery as a stealth tax. Bitcoin is none of those, neither is it play money. Just needed saying to be honest, which BTC is also..

Agreed ground-up, I believe it's more fundamental. As miners compete they move closer towards nearly free energy from, solar, wind, wave, percipitation etc. These all come from the Sun in 8 mins 20 secs. All other SoV took millions of years to do this (save for batteries).
