The world of politics *is* Lord of the Flies, especially on Twitter. We didn't invent it. The fly net called Bitcoin is however an extremely useful tool to have to help us survive and thrive in this buggy world.

I agree with
@NickSzabo4's economic insight, but FWIW I still refuse to block people over differences of opinion as I do not find it effective at all in achieving the results I am after. -
Ha, Szabo just blocked me. The irony. The same group I complain about would rip Szabo to shreds for daring to question bitcoin orthodoxy if not for his (well deserved) OG status. Still a huge fan of Szabo’s despite the block!
-
You will missi him! Maybe he unblock you some day.

I’m genuinely a huge fan of his and recommend his writing to everyone, publicly. I think what he really dislikes is my anti-Trumpism. I’ve engaged with Szabo in polite debate on that topic, but his intellectual openness doesn’t carry over into politics.

Social scalability is hard?

-
We all have our touchy subjects that are “above” debate, I suppose.
-
Ari, I use to like your commentary and still follow you. But the topics you bring out for debate is very telling You cannot say ‘debate is good’ all the time. The way topic/ questions are framed tells a lot about your thought process This observation is only relating to Bitcoin

I do think I need to return to my primarily educational threads. I’ve spent too much time picking fights over the past year.
