A perfectly coded network is worthless without users, and users are humans, so a network will not reach its potential unless you make it attractive to humans. Ironically, a community of Bitcoin's most intense acolytes hold it back with their poor social and communication skills.

I think we're still on track. After seeing Bitcoin survive the fork wars, I am honestly not very concerned about trolls anymore. Bitcoin has outgrown that.

I don’t think the harassment by the Overton priests matters much. It turns some people away from bitcoin and at the margin reduces beneficial discussion but probably little long-term effect. I object to it for what it is, harassment harmful to the people it harms.

To be completely honest, it is a serious relief that the pressure is now on people who chose to bring the pressure on themselves instead of developers who volunteer for free and never asked for the limelight getting scaprgoated. Please,
