The meat stuffed vegetables of all sorts (cabbage, peppers, mushrooms, potatoes, etc...) in Hungary are doing a pretty good job re delivering the right amount of meat while -sort of- looking like vegetables.:) 

Vegetables are simply a vehicle for consuming more meat in our tradition.
Yeah, that is a big pet peeve of mine. I tell fellow vegans constantly when you do that you force people to associate what they know with what they’re experiencing, and it always blows up. Vegan or not, to quote Emerson, imitation is suicide.
