Agree that a lot of human behavior/preferences can be explained by our evolutionary past, but I don’t believe we are limited by it. Would be kind of like saying we aren’t biologically adapted to program computers. It’s not technically incorrect, but also falls short of reality.

Maybe we just evolved quicker over the last 1000 years.. I can't say I know nearly enough about evolution to debate this properly, but neither do I think that we are limited to where we have been at a point in the past
