@NickSzabo4 do you not think centralization of supply matters? Historically, that is how the "money power" has created cycles of economic booms and busts to further their wealth. As far as I can see, a deflationary currency is bound to bring misery (or be replaced, or both).

That's been the central banker ideology for about 80 years. The record of the the gold standard Anglosphere up to World War I, which featured both deflation and high levels of economic and productivity growth, belies it.
