Seems a bit weird that journalists are increasingly the chief advocates of state censorship of the internet
They advocate free speech only for themselves. Everybody else is supposed to shut up and listen to them.. That's how it worked for them in the good old days before the internet when they had a monopoly on mass communications.

question and this applies to anyone reading this as well. Is there a solution for when government demands ISPs shut down certain websites? Its coming you know its coming,yet ive seen little in the way of preparation for this eventuality.

Was talking to someone that works for secret service & they were saying how crazy the media is. I think w/ internet & platforms like twitter, it's a lot harder to hide agendas & fool the masses. Easy to pick sides when you only hear one. People are wising up & speaking up more.

He wasn't convinced on crypto, which I thought was kinda odd, since the things he was telling me he saw on the campaign trail was sorta like, President Trump is like bitcoin. Bucking the system, giving people hope, unstoppable.
