True that. It just becomes a lot more blatant when the interest rates are nominally as well as really negative.
It also requires a substantial number of draconian and unprecedented measures to make it work, made possible only by digital centralization of control over the particulars (who owns what), not just the generalities (e.g. controlling the overall money supply) of our money.
