A history of failure presents a bold challenge. But it’s still a challenge, it’s not impossible.
-
Traveling to Alpha Centauri is a bold challenge too. Think you will make it there anytime soon? It's just a challenge, not impossible. Your startup should get on it. :-)
-
People said the same about getting to the moon for hundreds of years. Eventually, we did it. That is what humanity is all about, making the impossible possible...as for our startup, I think we’ll need a bit more resources before we make it to Alpha Centauri

Flight was one of those, perpetually tried and failed things, until these two dudes somehow managed. Today it's easier to win the lottery than to die in a modern airliner crash. Also, it's risky to say something's won't get done, especially with the crazy-fast progress of today.

But wasn’t money also perpetually tried and eventually succeeded (in so far we can say Bitcoin solves it)?
-
It won't
-
Please enlighten me about why not, seeing you are so confident.

No army, no currency. Bitcoin will not solve or replace fiat (or digital fiat). It's in every nation's interest to keep a close eye on it. It all sounds beautiful but reality will kick in.
-
Your assumption is ‘no army == no currency’. While I agree that up until now this has been the case (and may even be the case the next 100 years). I am not so sure that this is impossible to change. Before there were armies there was already the storing of value. Nothing stays.
