Notice how whenever we pursue large spending increases + tax cuts for corporations, contractors & the connected, it’s treated as business as usual.
But the moment we consider investing similar
in working class people (ex tuition-free college) they cry out it’s “unrealistic.”https://twitter.com/washingtonpost/status/1153421402218913792 …

Those are working class people. They aren’t capitalists.

Providing a free education to the working class (who want it) could raise their employment options, or give them options.

We have an over educated society as it is. We need skilled trades.
-
True. We do need more people going to trade schools, and a better trade system. No argument. A better training system and free comm. college would be fantastic.

Many universities offer tuition remission, or completely free education to employees and their families. But for the "middle class" it's almost unfeasible to even consider sending their kids to college, based on the tuition cost alone.
-
And books. Colleges rob parents & students of their money, when they buy their books. The college may have paid $6.00 and hiked it to $300.00. Trump made it possible to get Apprintaship Training. Go Watch “Whitehouse” on Youtube.

I spoke to a college professor who went back and forth on quitting his job to manage a Panda Express, because they both pay the same. That is unacceptable and quite frankly college professors deserve benefits. They are the ones who prepare the skilled laborers of the world
