Climate change is much too benign sounding - we need to rebrand it to “climate crisis” or “global warming” or “climate catastrophe” to convey the severity of the situation we are in.

This issue has been politicized so hard that extremes have now been normalized. What should normally be considered ”limits” obviously don’t mean the same thing anymore. It’s no wonder why the flat-earth movement has taken off like it did...
