I think most Shitcoiners are against Libra because as always they don’t want competition. As a Bitcoiner I welcome it. Ancap welcomes everyone, as long as I’m not forced to use it.

Bitcoin takes advantage of computer science advances that were after Hayek's time (and way outside his area of expertise) -- what he proposed was pretty good for its day, but would have required far more political support than it did or was likely to get.
