I don't see how the Treas Sec saying that Bitcoin is created out of thin air & heavily used by criminals is "good for bitcoin" but if you want to take it as a bull sign you're certainly free to. By the same token, I didn't hear much new in the comments. This was mostly about FB.

My logic says that the market takes this as an admission "they" "governments" are feeling like they are loosing the battle. This further validates the bullish thesis that Bitcoin will win in the long term.

The only damage they can do to Bitcoin/Crypto will be short term. If you understand Decentralized Systems, like nature, they only get stronger with more adversity, especially attempts to eradicate. This is a Fundamental biological concept. The will to live trumps all.
