The vast majority of journalists don't have the mental skills to be able to code. That's why they get so insanely offended when somebody gives them career advice that is only appropriate for people who can think logically rather than spew attention-getting click bait.
The ability to attract attention is an overgrown, metastasized, grammar-sophisticated version of what an infant does without words. It's almost the opposite of the rational thought needed to be able to build things.

No joke. Human beings are born with a fear of snakes, falling and loud noises - so a noisy rattler at the cliff's edge mesmerizes, but is unlikely to, say, code up a viable digital currency. Seriously, XRP is probably the best it could do.
