Except for the part about taking private property on the border to build a wall... what was the last country to have a wall? USSR? Think @NickSzabo4 you are too smart for this.

I think you don't understand the huge moral and practical differences between a prison wall or Berlin wall to keep people in and the walls and door on a house or a gated community or a political border to protect the rights of those inside from unknown people on the outside.

O I have no problem with a wall around a house or a country. It won’t affect overdose deaths, or immigration which most economists liberal and conservative favor on the whole. I think it’s a waste of money. It’s not immoral, just dumb. And requires eminent domain. Cool with you?
