Granted, there is a lot to comment on here in Tweets, to take the simplest matters: Lack of Lottery I think to be the most glaring flaw - Jefferson’s VA Constitution Proposal included both Lotteries AND nested councils (H Reps elect Senate, not ‘people’ electing both).

I’m personally not a fan of ‘courts’ in government. Instead I’m more for positivism or ‘education’. Put simply, the Positivism of Jesus has been more persuasive than the Negativism of Moses. ‘Federal’ ala just Gov should act likewise.
-
In this vein, you thus remove the branches, leaving only the Executive, at the highest level. This makes sense to me. Likewise, removing Neg Governance allows one to cross boarders with ease, same as McDonalds, etc. Good Gov should seek global dominance, unfettered.

Regarding the Libertarian leanings at the time of this writing, How The Nation Was Won (Lowry) is fantastic - reading Popper now (Open Society). Most of Franklin’s work are quite Libertarian, though people don’t know it - /should do/ instead of /not do/ is Libertarian.

I recall reading all this Charter stuff with Winthrop. Forgot Inns of Court was supposed grant near full autonomy, thus his outrage was quite normal - unlike the ‘he is kings property’ Roman view I retro fit to that time.
-
Fully agree each President more a symptom than cause. Also the changes in warfare, etc - at one time, trial by peers meant blacks by blacks, foreigners by foreigners... thus frog boils, etc

Wow. I really like the idea of choosing a judicial branch of government via lottery from the cream of the crop as a mechanism to seperate powers.
