I wouldn’t trust a computer to make all decisons for me. Which of my kids would an algorithm decide is most valuable? The yongest, smartest, most talented, strongest? Life isn’t b+w or binary. But a search engine ranking? I wouldn’t trust a human to make those decisions.

I'm impressed with how well they've scaled up human intervention into Google search. Of course this is making it progressively more useless. That MLK glitch has indeed been fixed...and as a result you can only find Party hagiographies.
