Another Q: I suppose these courts would all use the same law, decided at the all-english level by Parliament (I have a hazy picture of how the Common Law sausage got made)? Would these courts have their own distinct jurisprudence and propose widely diff prospects for same case?
Where not covered by a a Common Law precedent, they would tend to have their own distinct local laws. (An exception being the merchant courts where they strove much more to achieve a pan-European law, the Lex Mercatoria).
Thx! Would those distinct laws be made by the court, or would there be some kind of a local legislative power (eg at manor or county level)? And would these local court only judge in cases falling under these local laws, or would they also apply national laws, acting as "agents"?
