Proving that we are all just one ordinary family.

If families can't even agree on setting a thermostat, how are 7 billion mutual strangers supposed to agree on it?
-
Smart contracts or we are probably all f’ed

Blinds might be controlled, not by a vulnerable organization, but by trust-minimized smart contracts on a public blockchain via proplets: http://www.fon.hum.uva.nl/rob/Courses/InformationInSpeech/CDROM/Literature/LOTwinterschool2006/szabo.best.vwh.net/proplets.html …

Exactly. Trust minimization at the infrastructure level allows for trust maximization for a local outcome. If you don’t even have to trust the system, you can trust your transacation on it.

"...other effects of excess carbon dioxide such as ocean acidification and faster and differential plant growth... do not justify the vast costs of reducing carbon dioxide emissions. Indeed faster plant growth is probably a major economic benefit." - Agree on plants.

I am vehemently opposed to participating in anything related to Earth's atmosphere. There is so much we don't know. Acting on our ignorance could have literally catastrophic consequences.

Direct physical intervention, especially something removable/destructible, makes far more sense than assuming CO2 is the only relevant factor, that no unidentified negative feedback mechanism that would stop CO2-induced warming exists, and that laws can dictate CO2 levels.

Gov would never go for a solution if it doesn’t involve increasing their power over the ppls lives. Sadly, many leftists believe govs care about climate change because they’re virtuous and benevolent lol

But what does dimming the sun do to crops?
-
Minimal effects. A lot of farmers use shade cloth in the summer to cut sunlight upwards of 40% already.

So now they finally admit it! The sun IS responsible for heating the earth, not CO2. I have hope for humanity yet.
-
Co2 is responsible for trapping the heat and preventing it from reflecting as much back into space.
-
We need bigger blocks and more SO2! :)

Food production down due to decreased sunlight, solar less effective, we use more power and eclipse the effect
