If a centralized payment processor with good intentions teaches consumers how to protect themselves and why they should it seems like a win to me. Better than traditional payment processors who hide the fact that they have taken over our money.
But they aren't teaching that -- they are teaching customers and users how to be dependent on them rather than how to be secure and independent. Huge fails for the cause of free money and free speech, respectively.
