Nick, this is all makes sense but I am wondering ( and sorry I have not done my own research yet ) how does an employer handle paying employees crypto? That may sound dumb in a way but don't they run into real world hurdles? IRS, etc.. And what crypto would be used? #Bitcoin?
It depends on the jurisdiction and the privacy characteristics of the technology used. War is being waged on them -- if they don't use the most effective technologies available, they will be defeated and destroyed.
I agree fully. I just don't think they or any company knows how to build such a thing or truly thinking big picture when considering #crypto. I think that is largely one of the main issues we have with everyone involved with crypto. Atleast on the lower lambo when moon levels.
Sadly though, they take would down a large number of users who bought their hype with them. I hope they can learn how to defend themselves & their users in time to prevent this from happening. They certainly have strong incentives to do so.
I would like to see a public crypto debate between Nick Szabo and Peter Schiff.
I was at the @ErikVoorhees vs. @PeterSchiff debate a few months ago: Erik was eloquent and had wonderful points but he read them off a piece of paper 
. Peter spoke well, had good points—but the audience was rudely pro-BTC.
