I will say this tho in this CEO's favor: at least he knows that Bitcoin is currency not a retail payment rail & bitcoin-on-Visa makes far more sense than a cryptocurrency's main blockchain trying to compete directly w/Visa. In that sense he is far ahead of most in this space.
That good knowledge sadly makes his nutty ambitions all the more dangerous for the rest of us.
Every encumbent will have XYZ-on-Bitcoin rails in the future. Visa, Mastercard, Union Pay, etc. It's inevitable. They will have to, or be delegated to historical footnotes.
