Writing out the pro/con lists helps a lot. If that doesn't work, clear your mind, then simply latch onto whatever comes to attention first and decide on that and only that.

For example, if you're having trouble deciding between two cars, look away. When you look back, whatever your eyes fall on is the deciding factors. See wing mirrors first? Choose the best wing mirrors.
