This is rather more than that: a derangement syndrome generally targeted at institutions they don't control, and especially those like police who would stop their violence, not just targeted at Trump.

A syndrome is a group of symptoms occurring together. "Not just at Trump" is in accordance with that definition. It would also seem that the virulence of their derangement is closely linked with Trump's election. Trump is their nidus and rallies are the spread.
