I’m avoiding this debate further Nick, but I can’t help but say that a lot is sticking. Half of Trump’s inner circle is under indictment or resigned, many of whom (like his son) already admitted to working with Russia for electoral benefit. Just things Trump team admitted to.

All former high level FBI officials are under investigation/resigned FOR BIAS re: Trump/Hillary investigations. If you think meetings for opp research with foreign nationals are corrupt, then be consistent with other candidates. Integrity, consistency, principles Nick > Ari ainec

Nick > Ari for sure. I’m a fanboy. Yet, I can disagree with my idols on specific issues.

2/ At no point in this debate have I questioned Nick’s integrity or intelligence or principles (if it came across as so, a miscommunication on my part.) I was genuinely curious at the apparent contradiction in his views.

You accused him of supporting an authoritarian, and that supporting Trump "seems opposite [his] life's work."

It’s critically important to be able to distinguish attacking a specific action or viewpoint from attacking a person. I may accuse Vitalik or Adam Back if saying a stupid thing while acknowledging both are far smarter than me.

2/ similarly, I may question the ethics of a specific choice a person made while acknowledging they are a person of outstanding integrity. To see a contradiction here requires reducing people to binaries.
