At what stage does it become “historical” ? Hours , days , weeks?
Principles of laches, statutes of limitations, and similar apply, involving especially the recency and quality of evidence regarding the alleged wrong, the specific former owners to whom that wrong was allegedly done, and the specific heirs of said alleged victim.
