The Department of Justice is a very insular group of unelected and permanent DC area residents, on average very left wing in their orientation, who have extreme hatred for Trump voters and have been trying to disenfranchise us since he started winning primaries.

P.S. this is why would should treasure trust minimized protocols where we can use them - low vulnerability is in precious short supply in most of the rest of society and especially in politics.
