The Department of Justice is a very insular group of unelected and permanent DC area residents, on average very left wing in their orientation, who have extreme hatred for Trump voters and have been trying to disenfranchise us since he started winning primaries.

@NickSzabo4 and raise with the idea that we’re currently testing whether the constitution was adequate in its restrictions against tyranny and clear enough in its proclamation of individual liberty.

I'm a huge unbeliever in utopian schemes to try to reinvent from scratch.

Most utopian schemes reveal themselves when they want to apply it to a whole country at once. That is about power, not utopia. There's nothing wrong with trying to rebuild from the ground up if you're willing to start small. Preliminary trial etc.
