It does exist though, and our government officials are sworn to uphold it, and I'm sick and tired of people like the permanent DC bosses who engage in blatant sedition against the results of constitutional elections while pretending to be democrats who follow the Constitution.

Lisa Barsoomian has maintained a role representing DOJ & FBI in many FOIA lawsuits, among other things worthy of a search. She is Rod Rosenstein’s wife.
-
It's interesting how much of the anti-democratic sedition among the permanent unelected government in DC involves "power couples": Strzok/Page, Rosenstein/Barsoomian, Ohr/Ohr, etc.

Spousal immunity.

More generally privacy of their communications, both legally and otherwise. Also, trust networks, which won't be very large. We need anthropology to figure out who rules us, it sure isn't Trump with his futile tweeting.

The
@TheJusticeDept employs over 110,000 people in offices spread throughout the United States. It is also currently administered by Trump appointees. Your statement has no factual basis and is not an accurate characterization of reality. -
The bosses live in DC, the people in the country, mostly also in deep blue urban areas, take orders.
-
While this is also not based in reality, lets say this is true, the "orders" currently come from Trump appointees. However, again, there is just no factual basis to what you are saying. Law enforcement tends to have a conservative bias, but the DOJ (FBI/DEA) are exception?
-
It's very much based in reality, as if you are not pretending you well know. Political appointees have very little control over permanent employees, and the permanent bosses are almost entirely DC left-wingers who have an extreme and deep hatred for Trump & his voters.

How do you square cypherpunk with authoritarian populism?
-
+1 genuinely curious
-
I'm not an authoritarian populist. Next question.
-
I know you’re not. That’s why I’m asking about the Trump support. Seems opposite your life’s work (at least the portion I’m familiar with and a huge fan of.)
-
Maybe it's not supporting Trump the man, or even Trump the president, but supporting the Constitution from being backdoored by the unaccountable entrenched bureaucracy and the MIC.
-
A president threatening to pardon himself and co-conspirators for crimes possibly related to trying to rig an election is the far bigger threat imo
-
Rig an election? The best they have is some random Facebook ads...that's hardly flipping votes, hanging Chads or anything resembling rigging an election. Clinton was shite...the fact that you are even remotely believing this astonishes me
-
Ari I love you man, and I'm glad you lobby the federales for crypto, but you've too much time schmoozing with our unelected bosses and swallowing their preposterous excuses for overthrowing a constitutional election.
