1/ The latest vaccine scandal coming out of China and the subsequent social media censorship got me thinking back to the basics of why crypto and blockchain technology captivated me in the first place.

Hashing doesn't make it available, it just allows one that is made available to be authenticated bit-by-bit against the presumed original that was hashed. Useful if somebody is altering such texts in transit, but doesn't help if the message itself is successfully blocked.
