That's taking his accomplishments a bit too far...what he did with gravity was explain that falling things and heavenly objects in their orbits were accelerated by that same force.

A genius and an inspiration, but neither blind signatures, nor mixes, nor any of his other often brilliant inventions are in Bitcoin. (Some people use Tor, a mix, with Bitcoin of course).

I think it's appropriate to credit him with defining the electronic cash space. ECash also invents (IMO) the UTXO/Coins model, as compared to the Account-Balance model.

What about Hal Finney in his prime?

Especially for the older inventions it's hard to find photos taken when the inventions or best work actually happened, since (a) they were busy, (b) fewer to zero digital photos were taken back then, and (c) recency bias in internet availability

True! I wonder what's most likely 5 year scenario: will the fungibility tech make it to Bitcoin itself, a layer closely tied to Bitcoin, or be mostly on chains or layers that have swaps with Bitcoin (or something else)?
