That's true in the Bay Area being even a tenth as outspoken about your Trump support as leftists are about their politics here can lose you your job.

That's another big reason leftists are so ignorant about Trump's supporters: rational people refuse to talk to people who threaten their online accounts, jobs, etc. over speech. So quite naturally they are not going to talk to you if they think you are a typical leftist.

I absolutely concur with this. I really do want to understand because I hate not understanding things and i am really having a hard time on this one.... And I consider myself pretty good and being willing to hear other views.

when i was RABIDLY anti Bush... my office was filled with healthy and hilarious conversations about that. it was something we could talk about and I was being the rude and aggressive know it all young asshole... but I never thought about calling any Bush supporter a nazi.

i was a little punk rock kid too... prob had a No Nazi's patch on my army jacket... but i also went the holocaust museum and read a book besides Harry goddamn Potter.
