Bullshit. Criminal law and contempt are enforced by legalized kidnapping, a.k.a. arrest. It's an inherently violent process. To ban it would be to ban criminal law and leave us all to our own defenses.

The rate of thefts & many other crimes is higher in most of these countries than in U.S., probably not coincidentally. P.S. they aren't unarmed, they are typically armed to a similar degree relative to the kinds of armaments wielded by the most common criminals in each country.
