Free speech doesn't protect you when you sign an agreement to use a companies service. If you violate terms of service or user agreements said company has every right to remove you from their service. Does no one actually read user agreements before they click the little box?

For speech and financial functions usually yes. For traditional industrial functions usually no (in the sense that they are usually the best we can do and have reasonable efficiencies).

This is why there has been regulation of media ownership in the past. Unfortunately we live in a world where legislation has no chance of keeping up with technology. Not sure there is an obstacle that we can overcome.
