I dont see this as true. There are many tradeoffs to be made in protocol design and bitcoin can’t encompass them all and therefore can’t be the best for every use case by definition

That’s because you don’t understand what money is and that anything interesting, such as smart contracts, are more interesting when tied to money (and a bunch of other things).
