EOS promoted by great marketers. Can't argue with $4B preproduct. But for EOS to succeed, its governance needs to be run by people who are great at meetings.

No. Satoshi pushed hot fixes as a central authority in the first weeks, months, years of Bitcoin. Pretty similar I’d say

These meetings aren't about software bugs, they are about one-off fixes (when they are indeed fixes) to eternally recurring problems.

Seems like EOS will stop this and only reverse things like DAO-hack though the ECAF. I’d argue it’s a better system to formalize governance processes, than pretending a blockchain doesn’t need it (and really getting authoritarianism via Blockstream).
