Hi nick. Big fan. Wondering if you have considered Dubar’s 150 law when looking at governed blockchains? Our primate brains do have limitations. But could we engineer consensus to cope with those limits? Still learning here 🙏🏻

Dunbar's number is so important, it can be applied to any group, especially corporations. If you're a CEO of a 50k person company, there's NO WAY you have universal knowledge, insight, and contribution to your business.

Pick one: "Decentralized" or "Governed " #EOS needs a governance system because its centralized. #Bitcoin is decentralized so it doesn't need one.

Always fascinating to read your work Nick. I am curious what you think about PoW/PoS hybrid blockchain governance such as what Decred is trying to develop.

Still, from my perspective, it is exactly governance, that represents (or it will deliver) a "killer app" for blockchain. As it directly touches the "management of Humans", which is now handled by Politics, Religion etc. Blockchain makes ANY number of connected units fit #Dunbar

funnily enough i borrow social scalibility concept and apply it to current society in terms of modernity here: https://twitter.com/GRITCULT/status/1008312609937002496 … also pushes to why governance should be more local and decentralised. instead of current monolithic centralised democracies
