Two videos today where the creators mentioned something in the description. I go to check it out but WAIT! I can’t because their hashtags were too long and were blocking access to expand the box on my phone. Both people lost sales. Mobile mindfulness will bring you more sales.
I think it’s also the creators fault. More than 70% of the watch time on YouTube comes from mobile devices so it’s up to us to make sure what we’re promoting is accessible. Totally agree that YouTube needs to fix it but we need to also be diligent for when they mess up.

Did you comment about that issue on the video? I just imagine something so obscure and unpredictable being a logistical unlikelihood of ever being noticed to be addressed. I'd also never put long (or any) hashtags above the fold in the first place but hey

I didn’t leave a comment about it. Sometimes I’ll leave comments about things like this and sometimes I won’t. When I’m consuming content I’m usually in chill mode so I try to focus on being a viewer more than giving advice since I’m constantly giving advice.
