This is the Right Wing Media's version of what's going on it cities. They're trying to influence those who live nowhere near these cities, to make them think that it's all a war zone--which is not the case, but the lie helps them to justify the actions of unidentified troops.

Exactly. The “city under attack” narrative is nonsense. This event is confined to a few blocks in downtown and nobody *nobody* in other parts of the city are sitting in their homes afraid for their safety because of it.

Same was true in Chicago when they sent in the national guard a couple months ago. There was some looting, but the vast majority of protests were peaceful, some with children and dogs.

Explain how someone got burned to death when their building got burned down? Or in my town where a beloved retired police Captain David Dorn was shot dead trying to protect his friend's business. But I guess those lives don't matter.
