My biggest fear is that all of this grassroots energy will dissipate and folks will disengage.
Let’s be clear: we WILL lose the House in 2022 and we will never regain the Senate majority if folks go back to sleep.

Some degree of dissipation is unavoidable. And if it's temporary, that's not necessarily a bad thing (everyone needs to recharge their batteries). But I fear long-term erosion of interest, and any feeling of our side having "won" just because Trump is out of office.

But I'm in it for the long haul. While we won the big race this year, we came up short in far too many others. We have 2021 to win. And then 2022. And then 2023 and 2024. And on and on it goes. The fight never ends, it only continues.
