    I am urging Israel and the Palestinians to step back from the brink and for both sides to show restraint. The UK is deeply concerned by the growing violence and civilian casualties and we want to see an urgent de-escalation of tensions.

  19. The is today. The Government’s agenda for the next Parliamentary session will be set out. Unfortunately, I will be watching it on TV in my office. Yet it's still very exciting and is all happening outside my window! I hope you have a chance to watch it too.
