    Seems like no one was going to be happy w/ Biden’s PA speech unless he hit the stage w/ smoke, strobes, flashing images of McConnell as the Grim Reaper — then grabbing the mic and bellowing “The future holds nothing else but confrontation!” as PE’s “Lost At Birth” started booming

    I firmly believe that Good Lord Bird is going to be one of those series that will gain respect and appreciation over time. And despite this inexplicable snub, people will eventually look back and consider it to be one of the best limited series of these last two decades.

    I could go on and on. The entire cast is all-star. From amazing newcomer Joshua Caleb Johnson to Daveed Diggs as Frederick Douglass to alt Capt America Wyatt Russell as a sympathetic Union officer. The best elements of McBride’s novel come to the forefront—

    I loved this series so much I committed it to my DVR hard drive for repeated later viewings. BTW — if you’re not a huge Ethan Hawke fan, neither was I. But Hawke, while not nearly as tall as Brown, delivers a riveting performance that makes him seem 6’6”.

    So many great limited series last year like “I May Destroy You” and “Queens Gambit.” But I don’t think I’ve seen a bigger snub than A phenomenal show that was two parts Spike Lee, one and a half parts Coen Brothers and a dash of Tarantino.

    A few years ago we had a meningitis outbreak here in NorCal. We mandated vaccines for teens entering HS/Uni that year and the outbreak tamped down. Get ready, Tennessee parents, a bunch of you about to experience a true nightmare--BECAUSE YOU VOTE GOP: THE DEATH PARTY

    The agency will also end all COVID-19 vaccine events at schools, even though they've mostly served adults. And, if teens get a two-dose vaccine, it won't remind them to go back for their second dose. Teens are intentionally stripped from the mailing list for reminder postcards.
