I am no longer a member of the Conservative Party. So I can be blunt where previously I might have been discreet. The PM’s head of communications Robbie Gibb is a hard Brexiter who wants to destroy the PM’s new search for a cross party compromise.
The media should be honest about the briefings they receive from that quarter. And the Prime Minister would do well to tell Mr Gibb to get back in his box - or go back to the BBC.
The likes of Mr Gibb, and Brexiteers, lambast EU officials for being unelected and unaccountable....glass houses and stones come to mind.

I had noticed an unbelievable amount of biased reporting on the BBC. The news is hardly watchable now. Thank you for helping me understand why.
er please think about it, the man Gibbs had to leave the bbc to pursue his hard Brexit idea. sadly at the moment I’m able to watch every bbc news channel there is. Where’s this pro hard brexit you talk about? Otherwise you sound like the same people who say too it’s pro-remainer
The “cabinet sources” that so many are using (@bbclaurak @SamCoatesTimes amongst many) come across as utterly unreliable and ultimately unhelpful sources of info. I sincerely wish scribes cease and desist using them.

That was suggested months ago by people saying he had pro-Brexit TV on in her office's waiting room all day. Why your former party allowed him to occupy his position so long when he was clearly egging her on to ignore Leave illegalities is beyond me. Thank you for your candour.
