I'm in Kenosha, Wis., where today jurors are to begin weighing charges against Kyle Rittenhouse, including intentional and reckless homicide, after he killed two people and wounded one during unrest last summer.

Judge Schroeder just dismissed the least-serious charge that Rittenhouse, 18, faced: underage possession of a weapon.
The remaining 5 charges (all felonies):
• intentional homicide
• attempted intentional homicide

The chief prosecutor in this case, Thomas Binger, an assistant district attorney in Kenosha, has begun his closing argument.
"You cannot claim self defense against a danger you create," he says.
At one point, he raised Kyle Rittenhouse's gun.

Next, prosecutors will be able to give a brief rebuttal, then Mr. Rittenhouse's fate will be in the hands of 12 jurors.

Kyle Rittenhouse's lawyer just referred to the cop who shot Jacob Blake 7 times, setting off the unrest:
"People in this community have shot somebody 7 times and it’s been found to be OK. My client did it 4 times in 3/4 of a second to protect his life."
