    According to , total number of COVID-19 cases in the Houston area increased from 497 a day two weeks ago, to 608 last week. It hasn't translated to hospitalizations yet. Daily new hospitalizations dropped from 103 two weeks ago to 92 last week.

    UPDATE: said drugs may be tied to this morning’s deadly double shooting at a Cypress Station apartment complex. Marijuana was found at the scene. 8-10 shots fired, striking several cars, and a home. What we know about a suspect at 8am.
