    Just a quick Clay Shader sketch I worked on for a couple hours last night. Lots of little issues but I enjoy how it turned out. Keep seeing a lot of stuff in Blender and enjoy recreating it in Unity

    A study of Piranesi's etching of the Pantheon from 1751. I kept it loose around most details and tried to somewhat capture the etching nature of the original. It’s really just a study of the greatness of the original rather than any big creative input of my own.

    The thing that liberated me was when someone traced perspective lines on photos of streets with buildings and signs and discovered that none of the lines actually intersect at a vanishing point. Turns out real life doesn’t follow perspective rules - they just look “right”

    The animation is done through vertex shader flapping and smooth mesh swapping. The flap time is offset by vertical position, which makes them differ from each other and flap faster when going up. This thread by was very helpful:

    I added a surface reconstruction feature to the Azure Kinect example. Now I can add fragment shader effects using Shader Graph.

    The first thing you see upon booting up The Wind Waker is a sunny sky, with a distinctive cartoony "lens flare". To get this looking as good as possible, it's actually not a texture, but a dynamic vector shape generated by the engine with some math!

    The Honduran white bat cuts the side veins extending out from the midrib of the large leaves of the Heliconia plant causing them to fold down to form a 'tent'. They cling to the roof of this tent in small colonies of up to half a dozen individuals
